NCC Zone 10 Slot Jackpot Competition Rules

Competition

  • 2 yr old halter and western pleasure with each receiving equal points
  • Horses will be placed 1st to 8th.  8 points for 1st, 1 point for 8th.
  • Competition will be held at the Zone 10 Zone O Rama.

Eligibility

  • Registered APHA yearling must be nominated by submitting registration form prior to December 31 of yearling year.  *for 2013 Slot Futurity deadline extended to January 31, 2013 (2011 foals eligible)
  • One parent must be owned by a Zone 10 resident at time of foaling.
  • Leases are not eligible.
  • $500 slot fee to be paid on or before December 31st. (Option to split the payment, by paying $250.00 on or before December 31st with an additional $350.00 payable on or before February 28). All payments are non-refundable. *for 2013 Slot Futurity deadline for first paymnet extended to January 31, 2013
  • Slot is transferable on sale of horse prior to competition.
  • No substitutions or refunds
  • All winners are subject to drug testing.
  • Horses must also enter an APHA class at the Zone 10 Zone O Rama
  • Horses must show to all 6 judges to be eligible for a payout

1 – 20 horses  - pays to 4th
            1st – 40%
            2nd – 30%
            3rd -  20%
            4th – 10%
1 – 25 horses – pays to 5th
            1st – 38%
            2nd – 27%
            3rd – 18%
            4th – 9%
            5th – 8%
Over 30 horses – pays to 6th
            1st – 36%
            2nd – 25%
            3rd – 17%
            4th – 9%
            5th – 7%
            6th – 6%

Non Pro Award

  • eligibility by youth or amateur card
  • a significant prize will be awarded to the highest placing non-pro rider.
